Writers' Festival to talk about Amorphik: An Erotic Constellation.
• Published and edited Amorphik:
An Erotic Constellation, an anthology of erotic short fiction,
poetry and art featuring Australian and international artists and
writers.
• Appeared in The
What If? Man: The Science Fictional Life of Peter Nicholls,
a documentary exploring the Australian writer; worked with the director,
Mark Atkin, on preliminary research for the project.
1999-2001
• Employed by RMIT
Union Arts and Marketing & Communications in a variety of
roles aimed at providing artistic opportunities for students. During
this tenure, founded Liquid
Architecture, the national festival of sound arts, inviting
the Transmit sound collective to participate. Produced the festival's
first year in collaboration with Nat Bates. Coordinated a number
of other RMIT festivals focusing on animation, short film and scriptwriting.
Produced and promoted the RMIT student film festival; a retrospective
of animation shorts from RMIT's AIM department; a series of lectures
about arts law; and a gig by Scanner. Conceived and produced a two-day
industry event about independent filmmmaking.
• Conceived, edited and designed two internal RMIT publications:
Deep Space, focusing on the cultural life of RMIT's Bundoora campus
(it won a nationwide campus award), and Full Haus, a revamp of an
existing publication of the same name exploring RMIT's creative
arts scene.
• Revived a vintage RMIT magazine, Jargon, from the 1930s
and 1940s, updating and relaunching it as an annual magazine for
RMIT students.
1998-2003
• Graduated with a Certificate of Professional Writing and
Editing from RMIT University, Melbourne. Major focus: Editing, Multimedia,
Non-fiction, Scriptwriting.

• Awarded an APA scholarship for postgraduate research at
Monash University.
